Best known for her starring role as Zuri Ross, which made her a household name on the award winning Disney Channel sitcom Jessie, led her to a 2016 NAACP Image Award nomination. In 2015, she reprised her role in the Jessie spin-off BUNK'D allowing Skai to develop her character on other Disney shows including Austin & Ally, Good Luck Charlie and K.C. Undercover.
Other notable credits include a starring role in the Hallmark Hall of Fame Movie, The Watsons Go to Birmingham.
A New York native, Skai began her career in modeling, commercials and voiceovers. When she is not acting, Skai enjoys fashion design, ballet and spending time with her family and friends.
